This mp3 player seems to be available in China for quite some time now, but this is the first time I’ve actually heard of it. The MusiQ Dog Tag mp3 player has no display, features an internal memory of 512 Mb and supports a microSD card.

Despite the points it may loose to the low memory size, it will definitely gain lots of points from the overall design and its cool-looking style. The part that I’m thrilled about is that this gadget’s headphones look like a chain, in such a manner that the overall look resembles a dog tag almost to perfection. You can get this latest gadget for about 90 bucks and it’s available in two designs: for girls (Magic Bean) and for boys (Steel Wings).

The good part is that BenQ announced the manufacturing of a new improved version of the MusiQ Dog Tag with internal memory capacities starting from 1 GB. Unfortunately, this cool mp3 player can only be purchased in China… Waiting for those BenQ guys to figure out the huge market share this product could steal from other mp3 players here in the West. I wouldn’t think twice given an opportunity to buy this cool toy! How about you?
