Soon to be released this summer the, The PlayStation Eye toy has decided it was going to be a toy no more, for now it has grown up and it shall go by only by the name PlayStation Eye.

Its collection of options include multi-directional voice location, background noise and echo canceling thanks to the four microphones with which it is equipped with. So, like Sony says, you don’t need a headset anymore.

You can capture up to 120 frames of 320×240 resolution, and 60 frames at a 640×480 resolution on its USB 2.0 camera. It has a degree range of 56 to 75 and captures better then the previous one in low light.

UK’s Armed Chair Motion Simulators released this chair that has an internal PC-powered
motion system. It can lift 600 pounds and resists 2Gs of force. This chair can rock, bump, move and jump according with most movie sequences.

You have to hook up an audio cable from your DVD player to the the chair(actually to it’s
motion controller). You can download the wanted movies through any broadband connection. The newest model has an update function that will download any movie motion that has been updated. The motion simulator chair comes in 83 colors and the movie library for it contains more than 551 titles. Hopefully this chair will have the wanted effect of getting you into the heat of the movie. This “motion simulator” doesn’t come with cup-holders…we wouldn’t want you to spill it! :-p

In this game, up to 4 people can take part and play as follows:

You need a quiz master and up to 3 contestants(or victims :-p). All players hold a
controller(the blue controller is the master). The dice is thrown to determine which
question(multiple choice) is to be asked by the master from the first question card.

After reading the question, the quiz master will select the correct answer using the slide
switch and will then press the start button, That gives the contestants 7 seconds to select the correct answer on their controller. If you answer corectly,you can breathe a sigh of relief, but if you don’t…you are going to be “shocked”.

I don’t know if I would trust any of my palls to be the master because it seems so easy to

The “launcher” can be plugged into any usual standard USB port.The software lets you control the elevation and azimuth. If you have locked the target, push FIRE and a foam missile is launched by the computer, with missile sound effects!

You could also tape a web cam to it. It keeps visitors on their toes
seeing a missile launcher tracking them around!
The missiles have a range of about 3 meters, but as the missiles are made of foam, you are unlikely to do any damage(unless they land in your coffee).

The Computer controlled missile launcher contains: three foam missiles and PC software CD containing ‘Radar’ type control panel. Perhaps 2007 isn’t much different because a supposed “sequel” to Rubik’s Cube is now available and it’s called Rubik’s Revolution. This new cube keeps that 3 x 3 configuration and the colored sides, but adds electronic games like Rapid Recharge, Light Speed, Pattern Panic, Code Cracker, Cube Catcher and Multi-player Madness. Nobody knows for sure yet what these do, but they surely sound as if they’ll add a new technological side to this great hit. The games feature light, sounds and voice effects, with unlock-able levels and even multi-player play.

This remake, at a price of $20, has potential. However, it is up to you to decide if it will reach or even compare its sales to the original’s 300 million sold units.
